Something told me it was over
(Yeah yeah)
When I saw you and him talking, girl
ย
Something deep down in my soul said, "cry, boy"
(Cry cry)
When I saw you and him walking now
So I'd rather
I'd rather go blind, girl
Than to see you walk away from me, child
So you see, I love you so much
I don't wanna watch you leave me, baby
Most of all I just don't
I don't wanna be free, no
I was just, I was just sitting here thinking
Thinking for myself (yeah yeah)
About your kiss and your warm embrace, child
ย
When the reflection in the glass that I held to my lips now, baby (yeah yeah)
Revealed the tears that was on my face now
And baby (baby baby baby)
Baby, I'd rather go blind, girl
Than to see you walk away, walk away and leave me
Oh baby, oh baby, I know
I know I'd rather go blind, oh yes I would
Than to see you, to see you walk away, baby
Oh baby, I know
I know I'd rather go blind, girl
'Cause I just can't stand to see you walk away
