Seers beheld a prophecy in flame
Foretelling doom no force could defy
Vile spawn of Loki, none shall tame
His coming marks the day the gods must die
Odin trembled at what fate had shown
A rising threat no power could contend
He cast the serpent far from Asgard's throne
Into the darkest depths to halt their end
Rise! Serpent Rise!
From the endless deep
Where the ancient terrors sleep
Wake the doom the gods all fear
Coil and choke, their end is near
Beneath the sea his body grew
In crushing dark where time stood still
He stretched beyond all mortal view
Till earth lay captive to his will
No creature born could match his size
No gods could bind his rising wrath
He circled wide 'neath darkened skies
A living wall round Midgard's path
Rise! Serpent Rise!
From the endless deep
Where the ancient terrors sleep
Wake the doom the gods all fear
Coil and choke, their end is near
Thor sailed where blackened waters roared
He cast his line into the endless grave
The serpent rose, the world itself was torn
As fangs and thunder clashed beneath the wave
Rise! Serpent Rise!
From the endless deep
Where the ancient terrors sleep
Wake the doom the gods all fear
Coil and choke, the final war is here
