You Can Make It If You Try

The song is an upbeat encouragement to keep working toward what you want. Its repeated message—success is possible if you try—creates a feeling of confidence and shared energy. The advice moves from personal effort, such as thinking more deeply and pushing harder, to a call for everyone to join in.

“Time still creepin’” suggests that time passes steadily, even when someone is inactive or unaware. “Wake up and go” turns that image into a practical reminder to act rather than wait. The phrase “don’t let the plastic bring you down” is less clear: “plastic” might suggest something fake, shallow, or material, but the lyrics do not explain it, so its meaning remains open.

The promise that “you’ll get what’s due you” sounds hopeful, as if effort will eventually be rewarded, while “you got to move” stresses that progress requires action. The song’s confidence is simple and powerful, but not a guarantee that trying always brings success. It can be heard as motivation, a celebration of collective effort, or both; the repeated group refrain makes the encouragement feel communal rather than strictly individual.
