Lyrics
Divert attention, shift the focus to an issue with only superficial relevance
Distract, mislead, move away from the original subject
Conscious evasion, objective deceit
Careless, casual reasoning inevitably leads to false conclusions
You've been had!
Hook, line and sinker
Red herring - destroy the scent, set the hounds at fault
