Sure as we know there will come a dawn
That we'll see the morning sun
We should trust that through the night
Our love will still shine on
Sometimes we get too comfortable
With things, the way they are
What we both would ask of love
Might seem a bit too far
So far away from hope and trust
Will love still be there for us?
I pray that forever
We will face all our fears and believe that love will be there for us
So we pray, 'cause love is an act of faith
Once you said you would never leave
As you held me in the dark
I knew you by your love for me
And I soothe your longing heart
But now we're lying here, miles apart
Just close enough to touch
A sea of silence much too wide
We stand to lose so much
Drifting away from hope and trust
Will love still be there for us?
I pray that forever
We will face all our fears and believe love will be there for us
We pray, 'cause love is an act of faith
You have my everything (everything)
So please, don't take it away
The hope and trust that love will be there for us
I pray (I pray) that forever we will face all our fears and believe
Love will be there for us
We pray that forever
We will face all our fears and believe love will be there for us
We pray, 'cause love is an act of faith
Love is (oh yeah, ooh-ooh-ooh)
(No, no, no, no, no, no) have faith, have faith, oh yeah
We pray
For love
Yeah (yeah)
