Yo, it's a new day upon us, time to hit the corners
Invest life on these mics, so the gains are enormous
I'mma rock stages, get the praises and applauses
But I don't want fame, just the paper and label offers
Me and Confidence fighting these major label offers
Because we took hip hop from the grave and raised it out its coffins
These are five mic bars I display on my performances
Given to you by the Brooklyn slash Philly native bosses
Emcees stay cautios cause they know I pose a threat
I've been chosen and elected to show 'em how to flow correct
And now it's made clear soon as my pen and notebook met
I'm living with no regrets, this is the path I chose
And I'mma walk it while I shake hands with fans and foes
I got what this industry lacks, well, crafted flows
Would you be the cause of me having high demands for shows?
It's well as plenty record spins, while my capital grows
What I'm spitting is reminiscing a classic poem
From every made passages, with nostalgic souls
You ain't gotta look further these notepads I own
Or the place where raps best ever has found his home
Now let it knock in your towns
From city to brother, all stomping grounds
Fresh and constantly improving
Sound we bringing back just to get your blocks moving
(This is how we play the old from the new
Been a long time, maybe too long
It's only right that I was born to use mics)
Ayo, mics, papers and pens be the true's to the trade
For me to build a foundation where good music is made
The streets gave me approval to start this music crusade
Now I'm Caesar preparing and packing tools cause they afraid
To being victims of bars that'll leave 'em wounded and slaved
My whole mission is giving people what they usually crave
Which is nothing but the realness that ain't usually played
I'm confusing your airwaves
Making your ears slaves with this rare airplay
Putting rappers in a feist ragecause they careers changed
Soon as they hear the words, I engineer on a page
Hands raised when you pump this on the blocks and your sidewalks
I mastered this rhyme art
Now it's time to climb charts
Maybe bag a few dimes who look good in designer clothes
And graduate from the hoodrats that rock knock-offs
Rashad is too hype to be inside of The Source
I rather be the guy who get your get your CD's signed by in stores
Doing world-wide tours
Reciting the type of bars that frighten mic chords
And keep flexing igniting bombs and it's on
Now who could do it better, I vow to keep it true and clever
Never been the type to rhyme just for pursuing cheddar
But if I get it maybe a spurge would be cool to spend it
In the meantime I'm paying dues, making moves etcetera
Spitting pounds of substance for stations in every area
Making a way that my records rotation much heavier
The mic crusher and predator, holding the pen much deadlier
Than any pistol with the potential to pump lead in ya
Turn rappers into discouraged competitors
Cause what I write seperates the real emcees from the replicas
Devoiding rap is what my pen and pad replenishes
I'm fighting with this industry, bringing it to the precipes
Avoid all chaos label for the music
Waiting to see the pay-off
Writing religously, but never took the seventh day off
About to crash the plate that you rap cats ate off
And make the game change course and go back to the essence
While all this look for day-jobs I'm praised as a legend
Solidifying my spot is changing bars with the veterans
Now name another poet I can't do this better than
ย
