Lyrics
It was a modern Christmas fairytale
Someone was renting the venue out for a ball
The date was set
The invites in the mail
And they hired me to help them deck the halls
I walked right into you while decorating
And our hands almost touched while we were picking up the tinsel that I dropped
I wasn't invited but you said that I should come tonight
And I fell for you like snowfall
Whiteout
Couldn't see at all
Thought I'd spend all December nights all alone and drinking cider
Watching all the festive cheer from afar
But now I'm feeling like a Christmas tree star
It was a modern Christmas fairytale
And for secret Santa I got you
When I drew your name, I turned a snow-like pale
And when I thought it was too good to be true
Turns out that you got me too
What a coincidence
And our hands almost touched while we were trading off the presents that we bought
I wasn't invited but I'm so glad that I came tonight
'Cause I fell for you like snowfall
Whiteout
Couldn't see at all
Thought I'd spend all December nights all alone and drinking cider
Watching all the festive cheer from afar
But now I'm feeling like a Christmas tree star
And I knew I had to say something before the night came to an end
So I mustered up the nerve to tell you right there and then
I fell for you like snowfall
Whiteout
The only one I saw
Want to spend more December nights with you, drinking cider
No more watching festive cheer from afar
You got me feeling like a Christmas tree star
Oh oh
I fell for you like snowfall (Oh)
You got me feeling like a Christmas tree star
