Dear Diary
I'm writing in these pages for today
To say hello it's been awhile
Dear Diary
I wish that I could say I'm doing fine
but it'd only hurt myself to lie
Dear Diary
I keep on running circles in my head
And these days my list of problems never end
Dear Diary
This smile is to pretend
That my walls aren't caving in
Dear Diary
I thought I found a brand new start
A way cure my troubled heart
Dear Diary
It was so close it felt so real
But I was ripped away to find that I was lying in my own bed
Dear Diary
I built these walls up high with brick and stone
To hide from all the pain that I feared to know
Dear Diary, I feel lost and so alone in a world that's grown so cold
Woah, here I go again
Open arms to shadows closing in
Woah, here I go again
A pain down deep inside cause I am stuck living a life that was never mine
Dear diary
I finally learned what life is meant to be
A cage to all that ends in tragedy
Dear Diary
Can't help but laugh cause now I see
The only way to live is to bleed
In these final moments I
Shed a tear to my surprise
Too much to tell but
It seems so hard to reach out for forgiveness
Cause after all these years I've tried
And risked it all just to survive
I stare in my reflection
As I finally drift into the bitter end
My mind is numb
And heart is tired my friend
Cause I done trying to find who I'm to be
My eyes are closing
As the lights are getting dim
Until next time, sincerely me
