Banana rainbow
Oh, you might be surprised
When it comes to bananas
There are many kinds
Banana rainbow
Different colors and sizes
So many flavors for you to try
Oh, the regular banana's called the Cavendish
But there are lots of other kinds that are so delish
The Blue Java tastes like vanilla ice cream
The Manzano banana is an apple-y dream
Grab a Burro banana, it's tangy and sweet
Or fry a Pink French for a savory treat
Oh, Crocodile, Tiger, and Mysore
Plantain, Goldfinger, and many more
Banana rainbow, whoa
Yummy, yummy, yum
Yeah, there's more than just one
Banana rainbow, whoa
Yummy, yummy, yum
Yeah, there's more than just one
Banana rainbow
Banana-nana-nana rainbow
Banana-nana-nana rainbow
Banana-nana-nana rainbow-bow-bow-bow
Oh, years ago, there was a banana
People called the Big Mike
It was sweet and delicious with a slippery peel
It was the one everybody liked
But the Big Mike banana was prone to disease
And they weren't cultivating more varieties
Big Mike got sick and went away
And there were no bananas for many a day
Now the lesson for you and me
Is very plain to see
The banana world is stronger
With banana diversity
It's a banana rainbow
All around the world
Banana rainbow, whoa
Yummy, yummy, yum
Yeah, there's more than just one
Banana rainbow, whoa
Yummy, yummy, yum
Yeah, there's more than just one
Banana rainbow, whoa
Yummy, yummy, yum
Yeah, there's more than just one
Banana rainbow, whoa
Yummy, yummy, yum
Yeah, there's more than just one
Banana rainbow, whoa
Yummy, yummy, yum
Yeah, there's more than just one
Banana rainbow, whoa
Yummy, yummy, yum
Yeah, there's more than just one
