Lyrics
Still I hear you laughing
Bringing joy into the world
A smile upon you face for everyone
A picture of a moment
From a visit that you paid
A few weeks later you where gone
When I received the news about your departure
I felt the earth quake and the sky tumbling down
Was it just a stranger
In your moment of despair
Joined as kith and kin I sense your fear
One split second passes by and you're forever lost
Wasted gift of life
Oh I can hear
From far away beyond the borders of time
I hear them crying in Heaven
Ray of sunshine
Tears will keep on falling
For a nameless crime
'Till the end of time
Ray of sunshine
Hear the angels calling
Try your wings and fly
'Till we meet again goodbye
Your on a journey to the unknown
Much to soon and far too young
And here we stand we are the ones who loved you most
Wondering where are you now
Life goes on however strange it seems
And our mourning has to end
You will always be with us
In our hearts and in our minds
The goodness of your heart was known
To each and every one
A crowd of mourners standing left behind
I'm looking for a reason
To help it all make sense
You left us in a frantic state of mind
The void behind you's like an infinite darkness
I feel the sorrow deep inside but I know
If there is a Heaven
Then your place is guarantied
From far away so loud and clear
A smile of recognition
At a voice I know so well
Telling jokes I swear that I can hear
From far away beyond the borders of time
I hear them laughing in Heaven
Ray of sunshine
Tears will keep on falling
For a nameless crime
'Till the end of time
Ray of sunshine
Hear the angels calling
Try your wings and fly
'Till we meet again goodbye
Ray of sunshine
Tears will keep on falling
For a nameless crime
'Till the end of time
Ray of sunshine
Hear the people calling
'Till we meet again
Oh ray of sunshine
