Pretty as a picture
In the center of the continent
There's a country that excels at sitting on the fence
Hiding in the shadows
Of a mountain range most prominent
It never joined it's neighbors in shaping world events
No, It never joined it's neighbors in shaping world events
Renowned for punctuality
And Banking skills unmatched
It beckons to the world
"Bring us you're silver and you're gold"
"You're money's safe and sound here"
"With no strings attached"
"A place where it can grow"
"As you grow old"
A place where it can grow
As you grow old
The Cat ate the Canary
But don't lay any blame
Good old mother nature
Made it do the need
So why get on those bankers from Zurich
For doing pretty much the same
In that same circumstance
Tell me you'd pass up the chance
To cash in on a little bit of greed
Meticulous and organized
Each page in triplicate
Enough to make a bureaucrat salivate and drool
"You're parents died in Auschwitz"
"Where's the death certificate"
"We're sorry but you realize rules are rules"
We're sorry but you realize rules are rules
They tried to shred the records
But it came out in the press
Exposed by an employee who was fired and disgraced
"But there's so few accounts here"
"Maybe 800 at best"
"The 30, 000 later found had somehow been misplaced"
The 30, 000 later found had somehow been misplaced
The Cat ate the Canary
But don't lay any blame
Good old mother nature
Made it do the need
So why get on those bankers from Zurich
For doing pretty much the same
With no one standing by
Why not raid the cookie jar
And cash in on a little bit of greed
Now they put a fund together
To pay anyone who's left
As honor and integrity finally make a stand
(Hooray)
But we all know it's just a show
They're politically correct
So send you're spare cash to Barbados
Or better yet the holy land
Send your spare cash to Barbados
Or better yet the holy land
