How did I get the name?

My sister would always call me Tuune around the household
When I was like... a little child
It stuck on me so much that my cousin started calling me Tuune
That was my name to my eldest sister's boyfriend
He'll be like "Young Tuune"

I used to always rap Tune
I would play a lot of music, from a lot of genres
From Beyonce, to Adele, to Damian Marley
To hip-hop of course
But it was no secret who my favorite artist was
His music reigned supreme in my playlist
So one day me and my sisters was talking
And we had a bet
They bet that I couldn't rap the entire song
"Bill Gates" without messing up
Like word-for-word
I bet that I could

So when I got finished
And I won the bet
I did not mess up a word
My sister started calling me Tuune
But it'll be like "Tuune"
Like exaggerated and shit with it, like, aah
So when I was formulating my rap pseudonym
It was only right that I put two u's in there
To emphasize how she used to say it
And that is when I began being called Tuune
That didn't start off as my rap name though
I had other various rap names I'm not gon' mention

It wasn't, it wasn't Tuune
Even though the fam and the friends called me Tuune
My other half and I visited my family for thanksgiving
One holiday
And she overheard people calling me Tuune
So we got to talking about it
She was wondering why they called me Tuune
So I explained it
"I used to be Balling, but now I'm Bill"
You know what I'm saying? I did the whole spill
And she says
"Oh I thought they called you Toon
'cause you're cartoon like animated like oh my God
But it makes sense 'cause like music like yeah"

She don't really talk like that
She gon' kill me
That makes sense too right?
So she suggests that Tuune should be my rap name
And after careful consideration
And the play on the words
And the different meanings behind the word
Here I am as Tuune
The best rap name I could have
And to add on to that
Tuune is going to grow into something colossal
I would tell you about my skills
But ima just let my music speak for itself
I'm so creative and explorative
I can't promise that you'll like everything I make
I'm so open and diverse
