Yeah
I got a lot to say on this next record
Ain't no one fucking with the underdogs
Not even our own fucking fans
It's been a while since I spoke up
'Bout the fans who ain't never gonna show love
The only time I was ever given credit to my shit
Is when I dissed every bitch, that I broke up
With, now I feel like there's no love
In this game anymore, 'cause I've grown up
And you want the old Chase, who would wake to
Depression and a joint, everyday that he woke up
But I outgrew that
Showed my fans that I can't do that
Started losing money, so I tried boom-bap
And I started spitting rhymes that become the new rap
Now you hate that, then you thump my old shit
But never gave me love, whenever I would post it
And now I'm in the loop, like, "Who to go with?"
My fans right now, or the ones I've grown with?
I don't know
I don't know no more
I don't wanna feel like I'm alone, no more
I don't wanna freak out in the morning, over something really stupid
'Cause I don't know how to cope, no more
I don't wanna have to pop another fucking pill
Inside my throat, so I can finally feel at home, no more
I don't even got a friend that I can phone, no more
There's no reason I should be up on the globe, no more
'Cause, the people say I've changed, but I had
To make a change, if I really wanna stand out
Now, I couldn't stay the same, now I'm going
With the grains, on the moment, I'ma branch out
Look, like, all I get is hate on the music
That I make, and I'm driving to the fence now
Ohh, it's a man down
Yeah, just another man down
'Cause the people say I've changed, but I had
To make a change, if I really wanna stand out
Now, I couldn't stay the same, now I'm going
With the grain, for the moment, I'ma branch out
Look, like, all I get is hate on the music
That I make, and I'm driving to the fence, now
Ohh, it's a man down
Yeah, just another man down
Undercover, I was
Waited for the moment I'd buzz
Noticed that the people loved everything I put out an
I hate it, but they didn't hear that shit when they judged
Had me drinking just to cope with
The fact I wasn't love-drunk with devotion
Do you want melody or dope shit?
So can you tell me as a fan, how I'm
Supposed to grow, if you want me all on my old shit
No
I tell you to act better, you back peddle
You like a pot, talking trash to a black kettle
Go
Gotta rap like a trash rebel
Pass me the axe, lemme hack, when they act ghetto
Whoa
They attach, to your back when they see you
With some traction to action, and act like you know
Day the mass settles down for some average
Entrapment, I promise you'll see hell getting snow
So
I just gotta work a little harder, til' I let go
Hear them coming after, like an echo
Oh
Scream a little louder, let the press know
That I don't give a fuck about what they have said, so
I live by myself, and drop songs for the hell of it
Notice you struggle for relevance
And don't give me pressure to change what
I'm doing, when you haven't worked on development
Heh, man down
'Cause, the people say I've changed, but I had
To make a change, if I really wanna stand out
Now, I couldn't stay the same, now I'm going
With the grain, for the moment, I'ma branch out
Look, like, all I get is hate on the music
That I make, and I'm driving to the fence now
Ohh, it's a man down
Yeah, just another man down
'Cause the people say I've changed, but I had
To make a change, if I really wanna stand out
Now, I couldn't stay the same, now I'm going
With the grain, for the moment, I'ma branch out
Look, like, all I get is hate on the music
That I make, and I'm driving to the fence, now
Ohh, it's a man down
Yeah, just another man down
Dax
Yeah, man down
When I started, man, they said I was a damn clown
Yeah, well hear now
Ain't it funny, I'm the motherfucking man, now
Yeah, uh, what's the plan now?
Take these rappers, make 'em all fucking drown now
Yeah, what's the plan now?
Take these rappers, make them fucking all drown now
Yeah, see when I started, man, they told me that I wouldn't make it
Now, your boy the greatest, ain't nobody in the world debatin'
How I do it, ain't no way that I could fucking fake it
Took the whole game, made my bitch, and now I'm fucking raping
Yeah, fucking raping
