Well, I'm calling you to tell you
You forgot about us
I believe that I was counted
And all that sweat was worth the fuss
When we were younger, we believed
There was nothing out of our reach
Credit taken, my voice got stuck
Turns out their system was all fucked up
And I'm sure that you know
Yeah, I'm certain that you know
That leaving us out's impossible
When we're all being held accountable
But you better figure it out
Before it gets too late
Can't you see what you already started?
Can you see beyond the bed you made?
And we are the forgotten cases
Eraded from your memory
The ones that got swept away (Got swept away)
We come from those rundown places
You'll have to deal with us again (Us again)
Make that move that puts you in checkmate
You seemed a bit preoccupied
Last time we were in touch
Yeah, we only had but one request
Turns out that we asked too much
And the rhetoric and the issues last
Close your eyes and hide, but they won't pass
Frowns surround you 'cause you own a piece
I've seen a simple comma slip to treachery, yeah
Once we're swept between the cracks
I'm sure that they all told you that
The scenes would all wash clean
You won't have to hear, you won't have to see
Their remains lay tucked inside
Did you bother to tell them why?
Sure the answer's no
Soon you'll have no place to turn, no place to go
We are the forgotten cases
Eraded from your memory
The ones that got swept away (Got swept away)
We come from those rundown places
You'll have to deal with us again (Us again)
Your next mistake will be the last you make
Looks like it started off again
Looks like we're making the same mistakes again
Burning off that switch
Take your fingers off the fuse
So sad, it's almost laughable
But man, I'm not amused, oh
ย
We are the forgotten cases
Eraded from your memory
The ones that got swept away (Got swept away)
We come from those rundown places
You'll have to deal with us again (Us again)
Next time will we hear what we say?
We are the forgotten cases
We come from those rundown places
Oh, yeah, we got swept away
Ooh, you were sitting on borrowed time
And no one made sense to stay
Can we get it back today?
