Melody, harmony, rhythm, timbre, intensity
That's how sound is arranged to be
Music to our ears
Let's start with pitch
An important part of music
It can be high or low
Let me show how to use it
You make melody, a string of pitches one after the other
And harmony, a group of pitches playing altogether
And then you got rhythm (rhythm)
The way a sound repeats, it might make you tap your toes
It might make you tap, tap, tap, tap, toe
And timbre, what makes one sound different from another
I'll show you how that goes
And at last, intensity how loud or soft a sound is played
Now you know how sound is organized into music
Made of melody, harmony, rhythm, timbre, intensity
Gets our feelings flowing
Our hummers humming
Our fingers drumming, everybody
Melody, harmony, rhythm, timbre, intensity
That's how sound is arranged to be
Music to our ears (la la la la)
