I know this is something you haven't seen yet
Who said that I was wasting potential when I did BTEC
Said look at me now, the undeniable child
I might go tat that on my skin I'll recite that when I'm down
Said there is no time like the present
And discontent really getting under my skin
Took some time to grow just like the hair that's under my chin
And I'm just tryna grow into a man I can be proud of
So much on the line there is no scope to disallow us
Premature acclamations
The onus is on I to make sure it ain't in vein
Ironic your vision can't be cloudy to make it rain
That's ะตxactly what I plan to do and I don't know when
I mean how long is a piecะต of string really I guess it depends
There's no making amends
With all them people showing love when all it is is pretend
Rest assured it is not mutual
Like really what's the point if you ain't useful
Sometimes I don't speak to my friends for months that ain't unusual
Out the city more time
Hollow meanings inspired by borrowed feelings
Fantasies you make-up it's the honesty you're concealing
Funny I feel the disconnect
And like a chain we are linked in but I don't feel connections
Whose words don't go to my head like I'm drinking
Mumbling all these words it's really just what I'm thinking
That's all this shit is
That's all it ever is really
And I feel sorry for kids
This generation so polluted
Same guy that runs the world the same guy that they refuting
Coronavirus talks they tarnish my final thoughts
My last verse at 24 like the jersey that Bryant wore
Unintended embellishment
And really I just rap for replenishment
Cause If I don't say it here man the likelihood is it'll go unsaid
I'd rather bottle mine up instead
And pop 'em like you found out your teenage crush was unwed
And really I'm quite oblivious
Besides that fact my actions are chivalrous
The vision Is more complex than my previous dealings
Turn off doubt I gotta switch for my feelings
I just brush 'em off and focus cause this series I'm sweeping it's Cam
I just wanna know
Are you really down for a nigga
Would you push pounds for a nigga if I didn't have a penny to my name
Do this for the fortune not the fame
I guess I kinda like who I became
Greatness on my mind when I fall asleep
I'm comfortable just knowing it's all on me
There's no blue print in this game on what you're 'sposed to do
So when I struggle think to myself what would Kobe do
When the clock is running down what would Kobe do
When everyone is out to get you what would Kobe do
When you cannot find your stride what would Kobe do
Yeah, said what would Kobe do don't let this world take hold of you
Rest in peace Kobe Bryant
