We are the Muses!
Your divine divas from Olympus
Your vocal assassins from Athens
Freaky
Funky โ
And fiercely high-fashioned!
Hello and hallelu!
We are the muses
Welcoming you
We are your girl group
Goddesses
And your greek chorus, too
We're here to tell the tale
We won't leave out the juiciest parts!
And while we're at it
Sing and dance our way into your hearts!
And that's the gospel truth!
We're gonna spill some tea
It's hot!
Fill you in on destiny
The plot!
You never know what lies in store for you!
Fate can twist and turn so quick
And play a trick or two
Your life can change like that
From bitter grapes to sweet as vermouth
Though honey, it may
Seem imposs'ble
That's the gospel truth!
Today we'll tell you a tale of destiny
The tale of hercules
Girl, you mean hunkules!
Give that brother a bandage, he is cut!
Our tale actually begins when hercules does
And, honey, we don't just serve back โ
We serve back story, too!
Back when the world was young
Zeus made the earth a smashing success
And all the gods holed
Up on mount olympus
Nice address!
Zeus thought he had it all
All he could ever dream of was his
And then, at last
A son to carry on the fam'ly biz
They named him
Hercules
They knew he was a special boy
So bright!
A paragon!
The real mccoy!
That's right!
This gorgeous tot was strong as he could be!
He hit the jackpot
...Crushing the genetic lottery!
And all the gods went wild
To celebrate this miracle child
Though honey, it may seem imposs'ble
That's the gospel truth!
And, so, you best believe
And, so, you best believe
The boy was born to overachieve!
Overachieve!
The glitterati couldn't wait
To celebrate this youth!
Though, honey, it may seem imposs'ble
That's the gospel truth!
Yeah, that's the gospel truth!
Yeah, that's the gospel truth!
Whoa!
That's the gospel truth!
