It's EG
I'm comin' back to the basics man
You feel me though?
If it ain't broke don't fix it
Look, look, I'm back to my first love
Back to the basics, I'm waitin' on God now
I'm not finna chase it
I ain't finna rush things, I'm back to the patience
Help me with my unbelief, and remind me what faith is
My countin' is down bad, you gave me a face lift
I'm done with the old me, it's liked you erased him
Couldn't keep your commandments, and simultaneously grace it
Not the commands to my heart, and not just the back of my bracelet
I'm back to the forefront, I'm back to the pavement!
Im done with my old habits, bringin' the replacements!
I'm backin' it up, and I'm goin' back to the days when-
I was liftin' up men's own prayers in the basement!
I'm done with religion
I'm back to relation
I'm back to the awe of God, till I stand in amazement
I'm back to evangelism, we takin' the nation
Shoulder to shoulder, with Pastor Karlos, I'm standin' adjacent
I'm back to obedience, I'm back to submission
I'm back to the ministry, comin' back to the vision
I'm back to the 5 E's, I'm back to the 3 C's
I'm back to the promises, coming back to the mission!
(You are all, I need... I need...)
(You are all... Yeah, I ever need...)
Look, I'm back to the scriptures
I'm back to the Bible
I'm done with the blame game, I'm holdin' me liable
I'm cleaning my house up, I'm castin' down idols
I'm not gonna stop until I experience revival
I'm back to the 3rd wave, I'm not talkin' tidal
The cards are evolvable, bro, I'm still a desciple
Please and then when my music sturdy, becomin' a cycle
I'm back to pleasin' God with it, instead of tryna go viral
I'm killin' my pride more!
I'm lovin' my wife more!
I'm keepin' her close to me, cause without her, I'll spiral!
I'm bringin' my offerin, and I'm givin' my tithe more!
Help me to exhibit it, and not just put it on vinyl!
I'm practicin' dyin' daily, I'm not suicidal!
I'm killin' my flesh off, till I'm dead on arrival!
I'm back to the Church house, I'm throwin' my praise up
I can't call it worship if I ain't creasin' my J's up!
I ain't scared of death bruh! One day I'll be raised up!
Back to preachin' the rapture, until HE comes or my days up!
I don't care bout, post-trip, mid-trip, pre-trip
One day I'll hear the sound of a trumpet and gaze up!
(You are all...) You feel me though?
(I need...) I'm back to the basics man!
(I need...) I told you I would've played it, Pastor K!
(You are all... Yeah...) We ain't done yet either
(I ever need...) We gon' take it BACK back
(I need...) Look, look, look
Let's go over, to the outreach
Where everybody's praisin' the Lord
Drawin' all the treasures outta darkness
In every man, every city in the world
I got saved that victory outreach
And I'll never ever be the same
So let's go over, to the outreach
Where they liftin' up Jesus' name
Just wanna lift his name, I just wanna lift his name (All...)
I just wanna lift his name, I just wanna lift his name (I...)
Just wanna lift his name, I just wanna lift his name (Need...)
I just wanna lift his name, I just wanna lift his name
