Uppu Mutteh Song
Uppu Mutteh sounds whimsical by the title itself โ reminded me of the carrying game that I played as a kid. Carrying my cousins on my back like a sack of salt = uppu mutteh. Never in my wildest dreams did I predict that a song can be made using this game and that too conceptualize it into a cheeky love song. The song is quite catchy and sounds funny as well. TeeJay's voice is unrecognizable โ his voice is hardened and then softened in the sinusoidal flow of the song. Nadisha Thomas has a powerful voice and her vocals are good.
The lyrics of Uppu Mutteh depict how the game is played and I can't help chuckling at certain verses as the sensation of โcan one even do a song like this?' sweeps me. TeeJay looks good and the official music video is just the depiction on how the song is recorded.
Uppu Mutteh, vilayaatu.

Do not wanna pull you down,
We just want love,
Dare to support me now

Hey rasa periya basha, Manam rosham onnum illiya
Mi casa su kasa, Summa pesi enne kolladaya
