Hah, this song for you now, which
Hah...
Wasn't one of my favourites but
I'm gonna do it all the same
When I was young
Ooh, we used to dance to the Crocodile Rock
And if you wanna hear it now
You have me long sayin' now I want you
I remember when rock was young
Me and Susie had so much fun
Holding hands and skimming stones
Had an old gold Chevy and a place of my own
But the biggest kick I ever got
Was doing a thing called the Crocodile Rock
While the other kids were rocking 'round the clock
We were hopping and bopping to the Crocodile Rock
Well, Crocodile Rocking is something shocking
When your feet just can't keep still
I never knew me a better time, and I guess I never will
Oh, lawdy mama, those Friday nights
When Susie wore her dresses tight
And the Crocodile Rocking was out of sight
Laa, la-la-la-la-laa
La-la-la-la-laa
La-la-la-la-laa
Laa, la-la-la-la-laa
La-la-la-la-laa
La-la-la-la-laa
Jo-Jo was a man who thought he was a loner
But he knew it couldn't last
Jo-Jo left his home in Tucson, Arizona
For some California grass
Get back, get back
Back to where you once belonged
Get back, get back
Back to where you once belonged
We're back in the U.S.S.R
You don't know how lucky we are, boys
Back in the U.S.S.R, boy
Back in the U.S.
Back in the U.S.
Back in the U.S.S.R
Back in the U.S.S.R

Sweet Loretta Martin thought she was a woman
But she was another man
All the people around her said she had it coming
But she gets it while she can
Get back, get back
Get back to where you once belonged
Get back, get back
Back to where you once belonged
