I'll always honor you
Yeah
I'll always honor you
Driving on the 10 highway on my way home
Thinking about the love ones past but never gone
Said you'd never go through this life life alone
Had so much to say I put it in a song
Or maybe two or three
Could never write enough
Learning how to overcome this grief with love
Depression peaking in Lord knows it's freaking tough
I answered the call but now we keep in touch
Sleepless nights
Turn into endless cries
Hurts so much now
I'm simply losing track of time
Ocean eyes turn into tear drops
Honor you every day
Got your name on my wrist watch
We forget that the past is a present
And the future is a gift
God gives as a blessing
I been a begging for a sign from the heavens
You showed me the word, it's the way
It's direction
I've been searching
For a way to go about my life
I don't have the answers
Questioning the reason why
I just know that
I don't know that
Look up to the sky
Don't know where I'm heading
But I know I'm heading
In the right direction
Don't know where I'm heading
But I know I'm heading
In the right direction
Don't know where I'm heading
But I know I'm headed
I don't know what's normal at this point in time
It's a lot to navigate
What's on my mind
Is this really life and Is there any light
I've been trying to ground myself
By writing out these rhymes
By design I'm tryina make sense of it
This event
Seems impossible to have an end to it
Need to vent
Trying to put a pen to it
Isn't it crazy how
Life can change so quick
I'm getting hit again
My mental health is suffering
Sick of this
Another pain another instrument
Listening while I reminisce
Getting buckled in
This life's a roller coaster
I feel like I'm screaming in
Learning more of this reality as I get older
Getting lower
Only means that up's around the corner
Round the corner
Like a soldier
Gotta march through it
Though it isn't over
Taking orders
Working toward a way to
Move forward
I've been searching
For a way to go about my life
I don't have the answers
Questioning the reason why
I just know that
I don't know that
Look up to the sky
Don't know where I'm heading
But I know I'm heading
In the right direction
Don't know where I'm heading
But I know I'm heading
In the right direction
Don't know where I'm heading
But I know I'm headed
