Can we get it one more time?
This world is falling
Father hear me, hear me calling
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Talking about friday night, or saturday night
When you're ready to turn on
Don't make her do it, just do it
This is monday right?
But don't it make you feel good
Forward think about it
Come on let's do it
Can I do this in one time?
Check out the stories uh
I get up six o' clock each morning
Put on some coffee, splash some water on my face
Fight the traffic, punch the time card
Work my body, work it to the edge
Y'all know what I'm talking about?
I don't mind working from nine to five
'Cause I got to keep my family fed
I'll even work way past midnight, trying to get ahead
And you know what?
Oh oh I
I can only wait till the weekend comes
Talk about a whole lot of fun
Do you wanna get down, down (down, down, down)
I strut my stuff all over town
When the weekend comes
Oh, oh, oh when the weekend comes
That's when I that's when I have my fun
I party down!
I drag my body up on monday
It's still hurting from the partying that I've done
But I could never face that work week
Without some time to have my fun
You see I've got stress (stress)
I've got strain (strain)
Lord knows I've got some bills I've got to pay
That's why I keep my nose to the grindstone
My mind's on friday
Y'all wanna join in with me?
Oh oh I, I can only wait 'till the weekend comes
Talk about a whole lotta fun
Don't you love to get down, down
Strut my stuff all over town
When the weekend comes
Oh, oh, the weekend comes
That's when I that's when I have my fun
Turn up the music, turn off my mind
Kick off my shoes
Yeah!
Live it!
Live it!
Live it!
Live it!
Friday night (friday night)
That's when my chores come around
You find me hanging out
Damn, I only feel it
Oh I'm 'tryna get down
When the weekends comes (when the weekend comes)
When the weekends comes (when the weekend comes)
When the weekends comes, oh yeah (when the weekend comes)
When the weekends comes (when the weekend comes)
I can't stop, no, no
I don't wanna stop
I can feel the music in me
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah
When the weekends comes
When the weekends comes
Yeah!
I wanna leave you with this one
