Oh my love I hope you have not forgotten me
Just know that it was you on my mind when our ship was lost at sea
A crew of two hundred and thirty five men
Whose families never would see them again
Their faces forgotten sunk to the abyss
Now on the sea bed their souls will persist
Oh my love I have long since lost track of time
It must have been aeons since all of us have died
Way below the violent sea here lies we infernally
We're the ones that time forgot eternally left to rot
And I swore i heard a sirens call as waves took hold and sunk the hull
Hundreds of men were screaming floating bodies bleeding
Attracted sharks for feeding towards our oaken grave
Oh my love i'm sure you have long since passed
I pray that your soul unlike mine was able to rest in peace
A manifest listed with hundreds of names
Who would be forgotten down to the last page
A nation they served until the grave
This ungrateful government would never repay
Way below the violent sea here lies we infernally
We're the ones that time forgot eternally left to rot
Wives and brides will look to sea determinedly to no avail
Never to see those tattered sails
Have long since drowned and won't be found
