Lyrics
Watcher of the skies, watch alone
Is the world alone? No world is own
He whom life can no longer suffice
Raising his eyes beholds a planet unknown
Creatures shaped this planet's soil
Now their reign has come to end
Has life again destroyed life?
Do they play elsewhere?
Do they know more than their child of Cain?
Maybe the lizard shook his tail
Is this the end of man's own fruit of the earth?
Judge not this race by empty race
To judge God by creatures would be a dead
For now the lizard shook his tail
Is this the end of man's own fruit of the earth?
From life alone to life as one
Think not now your journey's done
And though your ship be sturdy
No mercy has the sea
For you survive only
Ocean of being
Gone ancient children, here to stay
This is my parting hour
So grief and obey
Beneath the stars you know you'll never know
Watcher of the skies, watch them fall
It's your fate alone, this fate you're on
