From the basic DJ setup
That was in any club back five, ten, 15, 20 years ago
Of course, it's your mixing labels
The mixer being something Richard unable to mix two records together
What everybody else was doing at that time was just trying the record
And then cross-fading and mixing into another record
Some people were able to align the beats together
Which made them sound flawless
It was hard to tell when things were coming in and out
But that was about it
And Detroit electronic music was futuristic music
It was, it was alien music
And I returned and try to classify it
It kind of moved
As much as the music was like that
The mentality of the DJs was also like that
In futuristic music, you have to perform futuristicly
Find new ways of performing for new technologies, old technologies
Or wrong technologies, it used to be different
