Lyrics
Where the problem(?) lies
People think it lies in taking too much
It lies in taking too little
Because if you take too little
You can resist it
And then it can turn into a real mess
Because you're afraid of it
What you wanna do
Is take sufficiently enough
That there's no escape
The front of your head becomes like a cinemascopic camera
You just feel like your eyes must be bugging out of your head
You burst into a place that is absolutely swarming with some kind of intelligent life
It's like watching an atomic explosion
On the other side of 50 feet of absolutely clear crystal glass
Where all your only job is
To hang on
The amazing thing about the mushroom
The unique thing about them
Is that they speak
Psilocybin just pulls up a chair on the porch
And puts its feet up you know
(hahaha)
They talk to you
They will answer questions
They will carry on conversations
Because the typical trip will put you through changes
But is not dangerous
They seem to be
The vector at the end of time
You can't believe this is happening
In my mind
If I can just live through it
You have to either immediately jettison
Everything you've ever believed about reality
Or you have to embrace that you are absolutely crackers
The ego feels threaten by the boundary dissolution
But this is really tough
I mean, you know the Buddhist
Talked about slaying the ego
This is slaying the ego for real
This man has a pathological chronic
Pathological delusion
