The speaker describes being hurt and embarrassed after a girlfriend leaves, apparently taking his money and becoming involved with his friends. He feels foolish and angry, but also admits that he still cares and finds it hard to move on. As the song develops, his hurt turns into defiance: he rejects other people’s advice and says he will remain stuck as he is.

“Like a chump” means feeling or behaving like a fool who has been easily used. The image of a “tender heart in a blender” vividly suggests that his feelings have been violently mixed up or damaged. “I did it all for the nookie” is a crude way of saying he acted for sexual pleasure; the repeated refrain sounds both like a boast and a blunt, possibly self-mocking explanation.

The lyrics mix vulnerability with aggression, so the speaker’s attitude is not entirely straightforward. His insults may help him cover pain, while his admission that his heart will ache suggests the loss still matters. The repeated claim that nothing will change could be stubborn bravado, genuine hopelessness, or both. Although he blames his former girlfriend, he also recognizes that he surrendered and failed to see what was happening.
