The lyrics are a fierce attack on a rival, presenting a contest over respect, influence, and status in rap. The speaker begins with aggressive confidence, then describes feeling betrayed and mocked. Later, the anger becomes more personal: he recalls an earlier relationship and says he still cares about the rival, even while accusing him of turning against him. The emotional movement is therefore not only from confidence to anger, but also from hurt to a complicated mix of affection and resentment.
โEtherโ is presented as something that reaches a personโs soul and makes it burn: a metaphor for a devastating verbal attack, not a literal substance in this context. Images of a throne and crown represent power and being recognized as the leading rapper. The speaker also calls apparent friends โsnakes,โ suggesting that they hide envy or betrayal beneath friendly behavior. These images help turn a personal dispute into a struggle over loyalty and reputation.
The lyrics are deliberately boastful and insulting, so many claims should be understood as part of a battle performance rather than verified facts. The speaker portrays himself as both a powerful rival and someone who once helped the other person. His claim that he loves the rival โโcause youโre my brotherโ may express real attachment, or it may sharpen the insult by showing how deeply the betrayal stings. The song leaves that tension unresolved.
