Lyrics
Trust in the Lord with all your heart
Don't trust your own heart, your own understanding
In all your ways acknowledge Him
He will direct your path, show you the way
Oh, don't be wise in your own eyes
Fear God and turn away, turn away from evil
For fearing God, all other fears
Will disappear when you are trusting in the Lord
You say you're troubled 'cause you cannot see the road ahead
You're looking through a glass that darkly veils your sight
You feel alone and disappointed '
Cause your life's not like you want it
Look to Jesus, He will take you through the night
Trust in the Lord with all your heart
Don't trust your own heart, your own understanding
In all your ways acknowledge Him
He will direct your path, show you the way
Don't forsake the godly teachings of your childhood
They will prolong your life and bring prosperity
Keep love and faithfulness within your heart
And never cause them to depart
For keeping His commands will set you free
Trust in the Lord with all your heart
Don't trust your own heart, your own understanding
In all your ways acknowledge Him
He will direct your path, show you the way
He will direct your path, show you the way
He will direct your path, show you the way
