I wanna sell it all and move to the coast
Take early retirement and buy me a boat
Live like Jimmy Buffett and let my worries wash away
I'd trade this 9 to 5 for the pirate life
Spend it treasure huntin' for tequila and lime
Make some margaritas and get a blender buzz by the bay
I may be growing older, but I ain't growing up
Since it's getting colder I'm about to be a
Son of a beach
Working on a permanent tan
Chasing the sun and the waves and the sand in a Jeep
Pretty girl riding by my side
Ain't no mistaking I'm a lucky son of a beach
Yeah baby don't ya think it's time for a change
We're runnin' 'round in circles like a NASCAR race
Instead of getting nowhere I'd rather just go get lost
This Wrangler's getting tired of the same routine
Let's drive it to an island with an ocean breeze
Take the top off, tunes on, we'll sing along to an old song 'bout a
Margaritaville chillin' hillbilly
Son of a beach
Working on a permanent tan
Chasing the sun and the waves and the sand in a Jeep
Pretty girl riding by my side
Ain't no mistaking I'm a lucky son of a beach
Well life's too short for worries so you better have fun
I'mma keep on living like a redneck son
Of a beach
Working on a permanent tan
Chasing the sun and the waves and the sand in a Jeep
Pretty girl riding by my side
Ain't no mistaking I'm a lucky son of a beach
Yeah, I'm a son of a beach, yeah
I'm a son of a beach
