I had one to many the nights before and i needed to clear my pounding head, so i headed on down to the eastern shore the sunrise carolina sky was painted red.
well the wind went whipping around my face, and the boats on juniper bay were deadly still nothing marking time but the crashing waves and the great white light house on the hill.
When i saw Blackbeards ghost in the fog of ocracoke.
like a rainy sunday morning back in 1704.
was he looking for his burried tresure?
or broken heart from long ago?
casue he left both off the coast of pamlico.
legend tells he walked the plank alone, others swear he took 6 bullets straight to hell, by the hand of captain maynard on that cold november morn, and now he roames the beach all by himself.
Cause i saw Blackbeards ghost in the fog of Orcacoke, like a rainy sunday morning back in 1704.
Was he looking for his burried tresure his broken heart from long ago?
Cause he left both off the coast of Pamilco.
And some say they see the lights flickering on the sounds.
He's out there every night trying to chase the devil down.
Cause i saw Blackbeards ghost in the fog of Orcacoke, like a rainy sunday morning back in 1704, was he looking for his burried tresure?
or broken heart from long ago?
cause he left both off the coast of Pamlico.
