Ooh-ooh-ooh
Your load will be much lighter (when Jesus lifts the load)
Your load will be much lighter (when Jesus lifts the load)
Your load will be much lighter (when Jesus lifts the load)
When Jesus lifts your heavy load
The weight upon your shoulders holds you lower every day
The heartache that you carry makes you stumble on your way
The road is long and rugged, and the way seems out of sight
You need someone to help you and to make your burdens light
Your load will be much lighter (when Jesus lifts the load)
Your load will be much lighter (when Jesus lifts the load)
Yes, your load will be much lighter (when Jesus lifts the load)
When Jesus lifts your heavy load
So praise Him for the many things He has done for you
Praise Him for the many times He has seen you through
Praise Him, knowin' that He knows just how much you can bear
Praise Him, knowin' that He'll come in and answer to your prayer
Your load will be much lighter (when Jesus lifts the load)
Your load will be much lighter (when Jesus lifts the load)
Yes, your load will be much lighter (when Jesus lifts the load)
When Jesus lifts your heavy load
Oh, your heart will be rejoicin' (when Jesus lifts the load)
Your heart will be rejoicin' (when Jesus lifts the load)
Say your heart will be rejoicin' (when Jesus lifts the load), yeah
When Jesus lifts your heavy load
Well, I'm gonna shout Hallelujah (when Jesus lifts the load)
Shout Hallelujah (when Jesus lifts the load)
Yeah, shout Hallelujah (when Jesus lifts the load)
When Jesus lifts your heavy load (heavy, heavy, heavy, heavy, heavy load)
When Jesus lifts your heavy load
When Jesus lifts your heavy load
He will lift your load
Jesus will lift your heavy load
If you only let him
He will lift your heavy load
Jesus will lift your load
If you only let him
Jesus will lift your load
He will lift your heavy load
