Welcome, I see everybody's here
Everybody's turned out tonight
Ha, they wanna be on this Fatback live recording
Alright, go ahead and get down, Bob
Give me a break right here
First of all, we travel around
Most young people ask, "What is Fatback? What is it all about?"
Fatback is a feeling
It's like a soul feeling, like, you know
The blues and everything, you get down
But we gonna show you how we build it
We start basically with the foot
A big foot at that
Yeah
Now, since we have such a large crowd and everybody getting down
Give me a little hand clap, make it soulful now
Soulful
Oh, spank it, spank it
Yeah
We gonna keep right on grooving now
Now I want that real funky DMX backbeat
Here come the big boss man
The big back of Fatback
The man that puts his words out
Bass guitar
Oh, Lord
Oh, I could stay here all night and just
How sweet it is
As Curtis Blow would say, "Oh"
We need a little samba
Hi-hat samba
These are toys
We can have fun with this
You can squeeze 'em, bang 'em, shake 'em
Go ahead, mama, go ahead, mama
You're looking good, you're looking good
Listen
Oh, those soul sisters sound good singing that
Not yet, girls, not yet, hold it
I got a surprise for y'all
Yeah
Let that guitar groove with me for a while
Now, back in the early '60s, they used to call this the piano
Now they call it synthesizer
Give me a little synthesizer sound
This is Fatback, people
You are now in the middle of a Fatback experience
Get with it
Now Ron, about along here, we wanna do something a little different
They used to scratch, but we gonna scrub the tape
Just scrub the tape
Now scrub it backwards
Scrub it for 'em
Ha ha ha
Now get to that, you scratchers
You Fatback, Fatback it down, you Fatback it
Fatback experience
Nothing but a party, y'all
Nothing but a party
