Lyrics
Never was a jail he couldn't break
Never was a cop he couldn't shake
Never was a girl he couldn't make love him
No man he could not defeat
He had rather fight than eat
Life was "go" with no retreat for Morgan
Someone robbed a money truck
And stole forty million bucks
Who do you think had loser's luck? Morgan
Got picked up accused and tried
Had no iron-clad alibi
So they locked him up inside a prison
Lock him up, he wouldn't stay
He'd just take their keys away
So they made a deal one day that freed him
There was some important man
Locked up in a foreign land
Only Morgan's mind and hands could free him
At the station plans were made
Morgan was to make the raid
But the G-Men were afraid they'd lose him
So they sent a G-Girl too
And one thing she had to do
Marry Morgan and pretend to love him
She told Morgan to be good
Like a business partner should
Morgan promised that he would not touch her
Everything was businesslike
Every day and every night
Morgan knew he had no right to love her
Mission carried out so well
Man returned so he could tell
All about that foreign hell-hole prison
Morgan played out one more role
And before the trail was cold
He had found the men who stole that money
Now that Morgan's name was clear
He had nothing more to fear
He took Kim and held her near and told her
Love had set his heart aflame
She said that she felt the same
So they went and changed her name to Morgan
