Last night, I walked out on a stage
To a thousand people screamin'
They roared the more they heard His name
And I wondered had it lost its meanin'
Some make music for the ears of God
Some just do it for the money
Some say His words so nonchalant
And I couldn't help but think
We left His truth behind
That the power of it all
Has somehow made us blind
To the other side of the world
Where people are dying
While we're trying to stay alive one more day
On the other side of the world
Where they are broken
While we're choking on the goodness of our faith
I heard a preacher on my TV set
He said that success was mine for the donation
He sold me gimmicks to cover his debt
But he could not sell me salvation, no
All this talk about prosperity
With little talk about sacrifice
I know that Jesus could truly bless me
But you see, my God is not no credit card
And He wants me to serve Him
By taking up His cross
To the other side of the world
Where people are dying
While we're trying to stay alive one more day
Oh-oh, on the other side of the world
Where they are broken
While we're choking on the goodness of our faith
Oh-oh, oh, yeah
On the other side of the world
People are dying
While we're trying to stay alive one more day
On the other side of the world
Where they are broken
While we're choking on the goodness of...
On the other side of the world
On the other side of the world
On the other side of the world, oh...
On the other side of the world
On the other side of the world
Did you hear them cryin'
Did you see them dyin'
Just the other side of the world
