Today I saw a butterfly
It seemed to love me in the eye
ย
As it flew 'round my head it said
"Just close your eyes and start to fly"
ย
As I looked again it was flying away
With fleecy, shimmering, golden wings
ย
I closed my eyes, flew by its side
And flew to the land of the Butter King
ย
The sight of the people all restlessly waiting
The tension like waves in the air
The masses of people all restlessly waiting
The feeling of fear in my heart
The people around there said "Be not afraid
The king is no man but a god"
And soon a great silence came over the people
Standing before them was the Butter King
The Butter King
The people all waiting in tension and silence
The king has started to speak
In a voice that vibrated and rumbled like thunder
He spoke of the Devil and men
The people around there said "Be not afraid
The king is no man but a god"
And soon a great silence came over the people
Standing before them was the Butter King
The Butter King
ย
So if you see a butterfly
And it seems to look you in the eye
ย
Don't be afraid, just stand your ground
And close your eyes and start to fly
