All Is Full of Love

The lyrics offer reassurance to someone who may feel unloved or unsupported: love and care will come, even if they are hard to notice right now. The repeated promise gradually becomes a gentle challenge. The speaker suggests that the listener’s expectation of where love should come from may be limiting their ability to receive it.

The “sources” the listener has “poured” love into may mean people or places where they have given affection without getting it back. “Twist your head around” is a vivid way to say: change your perspective and look elsewhere. The closed doors and phone “off the hook” suggest isolation or refusing contact, while the repeated claim that love is all around creates a contrast with that closed-off state.

The song can be heard as hopeful, but not as a guarantee that every person will find love in a particular form. Its message may be that care can come from unexpected directions, and that being able to accept it matters. At the same time, the lines about closed doors leave room for a more complicated reading: the listener may be protecting themselves, not simply failing to notice love.
