I was once undecided, couldn't make up my mind yet
Didn't have no direction, didn't know where I stood
Didn't have no conviction, I wasn't big on ambition
I was helpless, hopeless, 'till Jesus He made it good
I was once wishy washy, I couldn't make up my mind yet
Didn't know nobody, in my neighborhood
Didn't make a good money, I couldn't get a good honey
I was helpless, I was hopeless, 'till Jesus He made it good
Oh, yes He did
I was once uninspired, I wouldn't get up, too tired
Lord, didn't think I would make it, didn't think I would
Didn't think I would need Him, but He gave me my freedom
I was helpless, hopeless, 'till Jesus He made it good
I was helpless, hopeless, 'till Jesus He made it good
I was helpless, I was hopeless, 'till Jesus He made it good
I was helpless, I was hopeless, 'till Jesus He made it good
