The lyrics consist almost entirely of the repeated phrase “zombie nation.” There is no story, speaker, or clear change in mood across the words. Instead, repetition makes the phrase feel like a chant: it may sound energetic, insistent, or deliberately hypnotic. The emotional effect is open to interpretation, since the words alone do not tell us whether the chant is meant to be serious or playful.

“Zombie” usually refers to a person who seems lifeless or acts without independent thought. Applied to a “nation,” it creates an image of a whole group behaving as one, perhaps moving or responding automatically. But the lyrics do not explain who this group is or what it does. The repeated words may also be chosen simply for their striking sound and rhythm, rather than to build a detailed metaphor.

The phrase could suggest conformity, a crowd caught up in a shared feeling, or a fictional group of zombies. It could just as easily be a catchy, dramatic chant with no specific message. Because the lyrics offer no context or development, listeners cannot confidently decide which meaning is intended. The strongest impression comes from the contrast between the ominous word “zombie” and the simple, repetitive form.
