There's a storm outside that's growing and it's blackening the sky
The way back looks so different now, the shadows change the land
The road I took is overgrown, crumbling like sand
There's nothing in the dark beyond the mist but twisting trees
The lights in here are dim, but I would rather stay than leave
It doesn't really matter though; it's all within a dream
And if I forget that then it's as real as it seems
