Listen to your heart
Yeah
Roxette's second number one single in the USA
Here in also acoustic version recorded at Abbey Road
Tell me first, how was it to be...
Was this the first time you came to Abbey Road?
Probably yes, probably yes
And it's a magic place if you're in this music business
I mean it's just amazing to be in those studios
And you see the organ where Paul McCartney played
We can work it out on or whatever
It's just amazing
Did you see any ghosts of like John Lennon?
The ghost of Pete Best
No, but it was good
Everyone really appreciated it in the band
And everyone is like the biggest Beatles fan
So I mean it was just a blessing to be able to record there
I played there, I've been there a couple of times ever since then
And I did a concert there as well
So with my band
And it's just a special place
And the version of Listen to Your Heart
Had you performed Listen to Your Heart in an acoustic version before?
Very good question, Sven
I can't remember
It's me playing guitar and Marie is singing it
And I don't know, we just took it
Played it the way it was written basically
Without the keyboards, just on an acoustic guitar
I don't know, we've been doing it ever since on and off
Like for unplugged things
And maybe we did it like that for the MTV unplugged thing in 93
Exactly, that was about a couple of years earlier
You should know
Yeah, we'll look into that
But basically this is the back to basics version of it
Perfect
