Uh
Beggin' your pardon
And mind you, I ain't tryna start no debate, no
But I got a question
Some of y'all gon' love, but surely some of y'all gon' hate
See, I've had women beg me for honesty
Then regret it, 'cause the truth can be so mean
I've heard, "Keep it real," I've heard, "Lie to me"
Which way do I go? Do you even know?
It tell me that you don't wanna be lyin' too
But you get so mad, when I tell you the truth
Honesty's all that I got
Girl, lying ain't doing you more favors
Hate me now, love me later
Ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh
Hate me now, lovะต me later
Ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh
Hate me now, love me later
You're curious about the girl at the store
Is you serious? Do you really wanna know?
I'm all for you, but yes, she was beautiful
And now you mad, that's just the way it goes
The truth can hurt, at first you will reject it
But later on, I know you will respect it
So here's the deal (deal), you get out your feels (feels)
At least you can say I kept it real
You tell me that you don't wanna be lied to
But you get so mad when I tell you the truth
Honesty's all that I got
Girl, lyin' ain't doing you no favors
Hate me now, love me later
Ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh
Hate me now, love me later
Ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh
Hate me now, love me later
See, I've had women beg me for honesty
Then regret it, 'cause the truth can be so mean
I've heard, "Keep it real," I've heard, "Lie to me"
Which way do I go? Do you even know? (hey)
You tell me that you don't wanna be lied to
But you get so mad when I tell you the truth (ayy)
Honesty's all that I got (all that I got)
Girl, lyin' ain't doing you no favors
Hate me now, love me later
Ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh (ayy)
Hate me now, love me later
Ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh
Hate me now, love me later
