I took a three day trip with a one day woman
If you know what I'm talkin' about
After 24 hours it was plain to see
This week-end wasn't gonna work out
She and I didn't have one thing in common
And her papers weren't coming around
I'm on a three day stay with a no way babe
What the hell am I gonna do now?
Well Friday night cost me a hot dollar dinner
Lots of tequila and wine she drown
Now she's messed up, real good and drunk
Stumbling and falling down
So I had to carry her to the room where she instantly passed out
And started snorrin' loud so I went back down
And took a cab to the waffle house (boy, this is fun)
Now Saturday morning along about noon
She calls room service bring me some doubles
Hey, meet me in the bar. It's 6 hours till dark
And this bitch is having speech troubles
Fijy dizzy this and wijy wajy that
I though God, please rescue me
Another couple sat down, they ordered around
Now is my chance to go free
I took a three day trip with a one day woman
If you know what I'm talkin' about
After 24 hours it was plain to see
This week-end really wasn't gonna work out
She and I didn't have one thing in common
And her papers weren't coming around
I'm on a three day stay with a no way babe
What the hell am I gonna do now?
So it's the ... in my date get really shitfaced
When his girl grabbed me to dance
Looks like you and me are up the same tree
So let's start our own romance
Yea, she and I watched the Sunday morning sun come up in each others' arms
This weekend started bad but we're really glad
Cuz the chewy dumpster's still in the barn
Don't take a three day trip with a one day woman
Better learn what I'm talkin' about
If you're gonna go to the islands don't take a chance
Take a babe that you'd really get down
So if you have any friend wanna line you up
With a blind date take it from me
Get a girl you know who's cocked and ready to go
Forget about the harmony
Mucho glad to see you
Vamanos
I've never seen her before
