Black Walt
Tech said, "Ummm, hey, man, I wanna start rappin'" and we laughed
We're like, "Yeah, right, man you ain't no rapper"
Tech stands there, he get to beating his chest
"Givin' a test to rhyme my professional
Brother's gonna be a young star
Don't even think about sleepin' because I'm fuckin' up every
And he is beating his chest with this shit
While he's doing a whole rap
I'm like "Man, this dude has created a whole
'nother style that I ain't never heard"

Shit gets deep
Middle school my peers know I'm fa sho the man
Whatever that be hip hop A. Yates, he know the jam
School cypher's a load of fans go ta cram
In the bathroom to spit rap tunes
You come against me, get crushed like a soda can
Till one day they told me they found somebody
That can hold me rappin' or dancin'
One of they homies
A new transfer 8th grade enrolle (Ugh)
They told me where bro be from
Southeast lil niggas so we run
To the bathroom to catch whom
Is a rap goon and make him show me some
(Black Walt)
But he was known as wee capone
I supplied the beat for homes
Gangsta gangsta was the tone
'Cause he from 55th in Michigan
Where they nifty with the fist against
Any bitchy niggas trip within a block
Of a sickly pit where shit begins (Cheah!)
We connected
His way of rhyming from me was respected
Him and Melvin Robinson's beatbox, I was elected
In school we (Cheah!) talk about a lot of records who's the freshest
Making music was requested
We didn't know we'd be blessed with "The New Breed"

He said in his basement, he got equipment from music
He made a commitment to use it
But for me to come through, I gotta cross the clique in this stupid
In front of your Boston house on Highland
I'm hip with the foolishness
From Duke, Mike Timley and Bruce, sometime the shit gets abusive
They just fuck wit' me 'cause I'm different (Cheah!)
I'm just a teen and I'm distant (Cheah!)
From the rough to mean, I'm tryna rush the scene
And tryna clutch my dream, and I'm dippin' (Cheah!)
They chest bumpin' me, but ain't nobody that's punkin' me
When I made it to Walts house
And told him they trippin' he said "let's run and see"
I was good, 'cause wee capone got respect from the hoods
No problems of squabbing anywhere we stood
My mission is making music, but
I didn't know that I had thuggers in the frame
'Cause he wasn't in the gang, but he had brothers in the game
In his house on 55th, his basement set up
He records tape deck to tape decks, start over if you mess up
We on, when it get late I gotta take the long way home
To avoid that negative noise
That neighborhood niggas won't leave me alone, no

I'ma call Black Walt, every day like we recordin'
But a lotta times he had street shit that was important
He said I need a three verse on, because my shit was shortened
And he disappeared for about a month, there goes a fortune
Still wrote the song, and all summer I practiced
School started I seen Walt, and I was nervous to rappin'
After classes, walkin' this basement stop and I laugh it's
Him and DJ Bop, yo ain't you that nigga that stole my jacket
They loved it "The New Breed" recorded and I dubbed it
Accidently spread it through the public, true lie
Black Walt, gave me my first burst of fame
Same night we did the song gave me my Tech N9ne name on

Then we turn on to the back of the page, the very last page
And they had a TEC-9 right there, I had a TEC-9 at the time
So I was like damn, my TEC-9 be shooting fast as a muhfucka
Take me rappin' fast as a mothafucka, let's call this nigga Tech N9ne
So did you know mom back then
Nah I was in my early teens like back when
I experienced my first heartbreak by girl name Chanel
Man bitches ahahaha
