Lyrics
Well I got the TB
And the TB is all in my bones
Yes, I got the TB
TB is all in my bones
Well, the doctor told me
That I ain't gonna be around
Well, the TB is all right to have
But your friends treat you so low down
Yes, the TB is all right to have
Your friends treat you so low down
Yes, don't ask them for no favor
They will even stop coming 'round
Well, I sent for the doctor
See what the doctor could do for me
Yes, I sent for the doctor
See what he could do for me
He said "I'm sorry, I'm sorry
Lord have mercy on me"
Well, I know you gonna miss me
Baby, when I'm dead and gone
Yes, you gonna miss me
Baby, baby, when I'm dead and gone
Well, you see I got the TB
Now I'm dead and gone
