Lyrics
The joint is a brew as we leave the pub
We're off downtown to our night club
Where as usually we'd get in
Can't tonight 'cause we're with him
We're miles from home waiting for the last bus
When it comes it doesn't stop for us
We can't afford a cab but it's quite clear
This wouldn't happen if he were here
He's a change, a change
Everything goes wrong
He's a change, change
When he strings along
It's Saturday night and this party's on
But we can't get in it 'cause he's come along
So we end up walking around all night
If it weren't for him we'd have been alright
He's a change, a change
Everything goes wrong
He's a change, he's a change
When he strings along
Hey guys, do you remember me?
We drove twenty minutes just to see the show
All my friends and girls with me
Get us on the list for free
We might not even watch you play
We'll hear your band from the backstage
We want some drinks we're so hungry
Just give us anything for free
He's a change, a change
Everything goes wrong
He's a change, he's a change
When he strings along
He's a change, he's a change
Everything goes wrong
He's a change, he's a change
When he strings along
