I've carried mountains on my shoulders
Tried to fight the night alone
But every time my strength was over
You were calling me back home
I felt the breaking in my spirit
Felt the weight of all my wrongs
But You met me in the ruins
Turned my weakness into song
You take the shattered
Make it whole again
You take the hurting
Hold me like a friend
So I run to You
To the one who never leaves me
To the love that always frees me
Jesus, it's You
Every battle, every burden
Every wound that I've been nursing
You pull me through
Lord, I run to You
I've seen Your mercy in the morning
Heard Your whisper in the rain
When my past was loud as thunder
You were louder than my pain
You are the healer of my failures
You are the rest when I can't sleep
You are the peace inside the chaos
You're the promise I can keep
You take the broken
Shape me with Your hands
You take the hopeless
Teach me how to stand
Oh, so I run to You
To the one who never leaves me
To the love that always frees me
Jesus, it's You (Jesus, it's You)
Every battle, every burden
Every wound that I've been nursing
You pull me through
Lord, I run to You
When the night is heavy
When my heart is tired
You are my refuge
And You are my fire
Every breath I'm breathing
And every truth I hold
Is rooted in Your mercy
That never lets me go
That never lets me go
So I run to You (so I run to You)
To the one who always hears me
To the grace that draws me near You
Oh Jesus, it's You
Every valley, every sorrow
Every fear about tomorrow
You carry me through
Lord, I run to You
