Ooh-ooh
Ooh-ooh
Sorry I don't laugh at the same jokes
Sorry that I started to smoke, know you hate it
Sorry that I like all the music
We always said was overrated
All the things I was running from
All along, guess I wanted 'em
People change, guess I'm one of 'em
You're in love with the old me
You don't even know me now
Even my heart beats
A little bit different now
So go ahead, go ahead and forget everything I said
'Cause you're in love with the girl that I was on the day we met
But the old me is dead
Sorry that I'm such a disaster
Sorry that I got everything I was after
Sorry that I moved to the city
And that it fit me
All the things I was running from
All along, guess I wanted 'em
People change, guess I'm one of 'em
You're in love with the old me
You don't even know me now
Even my heart beats
A little bit different now
So go ahead, go ahead and forget everything I said
(Go ahead, go ahead and forget everything I said)
'Cause you're in love with the girl that I was on the day we met
(You're in love with the girl that I was on the day we met)
But the old me is dead (ooh-ooh)
The old me is dead (ooh-ooh)
Oh
I could try, you could try, we could try, but you need to know (ooh-ooh)
I'll never be, never be, never be who you used to hold (ooh-ooh)
All the things I was running from
All along, guess I wanted 'em
People change, guess I'm one of 'em
You're in love with the old me (oh)
You don't even know me now (don't even know me)
Even my heart beat
A little bit different now (oh, my heart beats different now)
Go ahead, go ahead and forget everything I said
(Go ahead, go ahead and forget everything I said)
'Cause you're in love with the girl that I was on the day we met
(You're in love with the girl that I was on the day we met)
But the old me is dead (ooh-ooh)
The old me is dead (ooh-ooh, the old me is dead)
So go ahead, go ahead and forget everything I said
(Go ahead, go ahead and forget everything I said)
You're in love with the girl that you knew on the day we met
But the old me is dead
