Top Billin'

The lyrics present the performers as confident and successful, celebrating their place at the top of the rap scene. The repeated refrain, “Milk is chillin’, Giz is chillin’,” gives the song a playful, relaxed center, while the verses boast about money, popularity, and musical skill. The mood is mostly swaggering and humorous, though some lines use mock threats to make the speakers sound intimidating.

“Top billin’” suggests being featured prominently or paid as a leading act. “Down with me” means loyal or supportive, and “get the papers” refers to earning money. The song also uses exaggerated battle-rap boasts: claims about rivals, bodyguards, and taking someone’s girlfriend help build a larger-than-life persona rather than offering a straightforward account of events.

The lyrics mix pride in the duo’s partnership with deliberately silly wordplay and abrupt, sometimes confusing lines. Their confidence may be sincere, but the comic exaggeration invites listeners to enjoy the performance without taking every boast literally. The ending shifts toward dancing, suggesting the song is as much a party invitation as a display of status.
