Yeah
I went to Bedford this morning
Down by the corner bar
And I thought I heard my baby call my name
But it came from so far
I started running and answering
Like any crazy fool would do
I ain't lying
You see
My woman gone away from me, people
And now my mind is trying to leave me too
Hear me?
Going crazy
Watch this here
Well
A friend stepped out that bar and stopped me
And that dude offered me a drink
And I went in and I had a double
And I began to think
About my baby
Yeah
Like any crazy fool would do
Yeah
You see
My woman gone away from me, uh-huh
Now my mind is trying to leave me too
Catch this
You know your mind can flip
Well I went into a barber shop
And I ordered ham and eggs
And each barber gave me half a piece
'Cause they thought I was trying to beg
I started crying like a baby
Like any crazy fool would do
Yeah
You see
My woman gone away from me, partner
Now my mind is trying to leave me too
Hey, hey, hey
